There has been a failure on an electrical contactor which is used to control the house lighting in S101.  This device has been removed for repair or possible replacement.  The effect of this is that the house lighting cannot be controlled directly from the switches at the rear of the room at the moment.  In the interim, Plant Operations or Public Safety will insure that the house lights are turned on/off as appropriate at the start and end of each acedemic day.  If there is a need to change the lighting conditions for a specific program, please call X-2568 for assistance.  Signs will be posted in the room with this information.  Thank you for your patience.
